Wells Fargo is caught allegedly eavesdropping on contract negotiations
Union alleges Stan Sherrill commits another labor violation
Here's an excerpt from the American Banker exclusive…On a Friday morning in July, lawyers representing Wells Fargo convened in a New Mexico hotel conference room for their latest bargaining session with union employees and representatives. But the day's session was interrupted when a man's voice emanated from the laptop computer of one of the bank's lawyers.
Upon hearing the voice, members of Wells Fargo's bargaining team, which was led by attorneys from the law firm Littler Mendelson, looked surprised and flustered, according to four union representatives who were present.
"Everyone's eyes started to bulge, and people got pale for a second," said Belinda Signil, a former Wells employee from Apopka, Florida who was in the room that day as part of the union's negotiating team. "It's almost the look of getting your hand caught in the cookie jar."

We are many branches, but one united union!
Wells Fargo Workers United member Sabrina Perez from Albuquerque, New Mexico went on a road trip and visited several branches across the West and Southwest to connect with fellow union members.
“We got a chance to discuss challenges and wins at the branches, ways to push back and ideas to implement across our locations,” she said
“Meeting like minded individuals like Sabrina was a breath of fresh air. I love connecting with people that want to fight for workers rights and be the voice for the voiceless,” said Kier Cuadras, who works at a Wells Fargo Conduct Management Intake Department. “We may be spread across the country but all want the same thing, and that is better working conditions and an active voice in our working environment.”
