"Today we stand stronger and more united than ever..."
Statement from our National Bargaining Committee
Below is a statement from our 5-member national bargaining committee who were elected by union members at the union branches and met with national Wells Fargo management representatives in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 5, 6 and 7 for our first union contract negotiations. Below is a photo with U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury who stopped by bargaining to show support for our contract negotiations!
“Today we stand stronger and more united than ever as more teams at branches far and wide decide to take the bold step of joining our growing movement to ensure we have a seat at the table and that our voices are finally truly heard. With 23 union branches across 14 states and counting, we are fighting for one national contract to cover all of us because we are one union.
As the elected national bargaining committee for Wells Fargo Workers United-CWA, we are proud and excited to represent all of our coworkers at the bargaining table and to see this through until we reach a fair agreement that will make Wells Fargo a better place for us, our families, our communities and our customers..."

Question: "How can my branch or department join our Union?"
Answer: Sign up for a Union 101 Class Today!
We are still building our union so if you work in a non-union branch or department, you'll need to organizing a majority of your coworkers to join with you by voting yes. Twenty-three branches have already done it so you know it is more than possible. It just takes some work but we'll support you and make sure you are successful.
Register for one of our confidential classes to learn more about what rights you have to form a union, how to spot when your boss is violating your rights, and how to start discrete conversations with your coworkers. We have a class Tuesday night (November 19 at 9:00 PM EST) plus more scheduled in December after the Thanksgiving holiday.

SPECIAL: Bank Worker Unions Around the Globe
Yes, millions of bank workers around the world already have the benefits of collective bargaining. In fact, there is a global federation of bank worker unions called UNI Global Union which has a Finance Sector for bank workers. Learn more here.
Here's one recent highlight:
New Global Agreement with BNP Paribas (one of the largest French banks) brings advances on Telework, Labour Rights and Due Diligence. UNI Global Union and BNP Paribas have renewed and reinforced their global agreement to include protections for remote workers, increase trade union access and establish UNI as a key partner in the bank’s due diligence plan.
The new four-year global agreement, which covers 183,000 workers in 63 countries, was signed on 4 November at the French bank’s head office in Paris between UNI General Secretary, Christy Hoffman, and Sofia Merlo, Head of Human Resources at BNP Paribas Group.
