Union flyer mailed to thousands of branch employees!

Union flyer mailed to thousands of branch employees! Some managers may be illegally destroying your mail.

If you work in a Wells Fargo branch, you should have received a union flyer in the mail recently. Did you receive this union flyer in the mail at your branch within the last couple of weeks? We've been trying to keep up with the incredible responses we've been getting from your co-workers across the country who received this flyer and want more information about how they can organize their branch and join our growing movement.

Unfortunately, we are also hearing reports that some unscrupulous Wells Fargo managers have been opening employees' personal mail and destroying these flyers. Tampering with someone else's personal mail, even when you receive personal mail at work, is a federal crime and should be reported to the United States Postal Inspection Service that has a police force with the authority to investigate and prosecute tampering with someone's mail.

If have NOT received these union flyers in the mail, please let us know right away. You can send us a confidential tip by emailing us at [email protected]. And if you have, read it, share it with your co-workers, and let's keep the conversations going about how we can work together to gain a true voice and seat at the table to make Wells Fargo a great place to work for all of us.

SPECIAL: Labor Rights Updates!

In the last week, the National Labor Relations Board has issued two important decisions that strengthen the rights of workers to form a union free of interference from anti-union managers.

Captive Audience meetings ruled illegal:TODAY (November 13), the NLRB ruled that Captive Audience meetings are unlawful. Employers may still hold meetings with employees to express their negative views of unionization, but they must provide reasonable advance notice on the subject of the meeting, that no adverse consequence will occur for not attending, and in fact employers are not allowed to keep attendance at all.

Employers can no longer misrepresent the impact of unionization on the employer-employee relationship: The NLRB recently clarifyied the test it uses to evaluate whether employer predictions about the impact of unionization on the relationship between individual employees and their employer are unlawful threats.
